When the Sun Comes Out in Seattle

The most wonderful thing about the Seattle morning was the witness of two mornings. When we were out and about, and when the ‘sun’ actually came out. It was great because it cast that morning hue on everything while either in mid breakfast or walking down the street. It fills you with a second hope, for the coming day.

Bryce, Seattle’s Best Host

This is us at the Gay Bucks. There really are Starbucks everywhere in Seattle but it was nice to see there were plenty of other places. I did get to see the ‘original’ starbucks when we were down near the wharf. Seattle was chilly but lovely.

A delightful departure from Seattle

Our fabulous host Bryce, took us to a great eatery. Spring was fully springing and I had asparagus, scramble, with a wonderful cheese and garlic. We had a great time visiting folks in Seattle. And, we forgot how wonderful it is. We might need to not wait so long to be reminded again!

We had folks over for a movie night. We saw “Prayers for Bobby”. Great movie. I’m fairly certain we were all crying at the end. Sigourney Weaver did a great job in this one.

We also made popcorn. I love me some popcorn and once in a while you can infuse some great taste. We made chili lime popcorn (Wayne’s favorite), garlic parmesan popcorn (Johann’s favorite) and white chocolate and orange popcorn (everyone’s favorite!).

It was good to see folks we hadn’t spent time with in a while and nice meeting Johann too. I hope we have the opportunity to do it again soon.
